Nursing Assistant at the Hematology Clinic
The Hematology Clinic is located in the O-building at the University Hospital in Linköping.
We investigate, perform advanced treatments, and care for patients aged 18 and older with deficiency and tumor diseases within the hematopoietic system such as anemias, leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma. An important part of the clinic's operations is the highly specialized care regarding autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplantation. We have both planned and emergency admissions of patients and a close collaboration with our outpatient/day care. The department has single rooms and isolation rooms with a sluice for transplantation patients. Offering new medications, including patients in research studies, and developing outpatient care is important to us.
